1. Who We Are

Convert Omni operates the image conversion tool available at https://convertomni.com/ (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have over it.

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Convert Omni is built to need as little of your personal data as possible.

2.1 The Images You Convert

When you upload an image, it is transmitted to our servers so we can perform the conversion you requested. We treat this as temporary processing data rather than something we collect or keep (see Section 4 for how quickly it is deleted).

Note on image metadata: photos often contain embedded EXIF data (e.g., the date taken, camera model or GPS location). Our conversion process typically optimizes images but we advise users to remove sensitive metadata before uploading images they don't want shared.

2.2 IP Address

We automatically log your IP address when you use the Service. We use it to help secure the Service, prevent abuse (like scripted or excessive automated requests) and understand basic usage patterns.

2.3 Email Address

We only receive your email address if you choose to give it to us, for example by contacting support or signing up for updates. Using the core conversion tool does not require an email address or account.

2.4 Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies necessary to operate the Service securely (e.g., protecting uploads from cross-site request forgery). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies later, we will update this policy and request consent where required (e.g., for EEA/UK users).

We do not collect names, physical addresses, phone numbers or payment details.

We use the information above only to:

• Perform the image conversion you request;
• Keep the Service secure and prevent abuse or excessive automated use;

We do not use your data for advertising and do not build profiles of individual users.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for advertising. We only share the limited data in Section 2 when:

• Service providers: trusted third parties that help us run the Service (e.g., Hostinger for infrastructure, Cloudflare for edge network). They receive only the minimum data needed and cannot use it for their own purposes.
• Legal reasons: if required by law, regulation or a valid governmental request.
• Business transfers: if Convert Omni is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, data may transfer as part of that deal subject to this policy.

Under GDPR/UK GDPR, we rely on:

• Performance of your request: processing your image to deliver the conversion.
• Legitimate interests: logging IP addresses to secure the Service and prevent abuse.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections to the Service (HTTPS/TLS), restricted access to production systems and minimal data collection by design so there is simply less to protect. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

• For GDPR / UK GDPR (EEA, UK, Swiss residents) you can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, request a portable copy, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
• For CCPA / CPRA (California residents) you can know what we collect and why, request deletion or correction and opt out of sale/sharing of personal information. Convert Omni does not sell or share personal information.
